Lauren’s Hope Medical ID Bracelets
Lauren’s Hope History:
You Name It was founded in 1994 by Denise Gaskill and Le Ann Carlson. In the beginning, the primary focus was not on medical alert bracelets. Our original focus was personalized kids gifts and mother’s bracelets. We started out at a craft fair at Antioch Shopping Center in Kansas City, Missouri, and eventually began participating in Jr. League shows across the mid west. What started out as just a “fun little business” grew into something much more. Now, 16 years later, we are still growing strong. In 2001, our company introduced our newest product: Lauren’s Hope For A Cure Medical ID Bracelets. Because of the tremendous response and national exposure it became necessary to change the name of our company to Lauren’s Hope.
The medical alert bracelets have received tremendous support from Diabetes Educators and patients across the United States. They have been seen at many national conventions such as The Children with Diabetes conference, The American Diabetes Association conference, The Association of Bariatric Surgeons conference, and the National Diabetes Educators conferences. Because we believe in our medical alert products, and the need to find a cure for Diabetes, Lauren’s Hope is proud to donate a portion of our profit on the medical alert bracelets to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. To date, Lauren’s Hope has donated over $100,000.
While our company started out focusing on medical alert products for diabetes patients, we quickly learned there was a tremendous need for a fashionable medical alert bracelet for ALL medical conditions.
